The Treasures of the Rainforest offers good-for-your-skin nourishment and fashionable color, plus a fun to wear, eye-popping, faux suede and faux leather clutch bag. The bag is zippered and satin-lined, and large enough for a day on the town. Two large tassels tethered with large gold "A's" swing from the sides of the fold-over clutch. It reminds me of something from the 1960's, maybe from "Laugh In" (remember that show?) or a rock concert in the Haight! The eye shadow quartet of colors are intense and earthy, but blend-able. The compact is so special, it arrives in a velvet bag. This limited edition cosmetic collection features slightly shimmery, on-trend colors inspired by nature, called: Waterfall, Passionflower, Bamboo and Earth (translated: deep teal, copper/bronze, purple, and light gold). These colors look very deep in the compact, but they're blendable to a softer wash of color. The blue and the purple are also perfect for liners and as shadows and the gold and coppery/bronze are going to really flatter a tan. But, come Fall, they'll still compliment everything you wear (so they're a good investment if you don't like to purchase a lot of new products). My favorites are the intense purple "Passionflower" and the deep teal called "Waterfall" because they also help you create the new, intense, dual-toned all around the eye looks shown on the runways and in fashion magazines. *You'll also get a "lookbook" with half a dozen ways to use all that gorgeous color in case you need a bit of a jump start on ideas. The "Nectar" lipstick is a moistly matte formula that is silky and long lasting. The color is very intense and opaque, but the orange is tempered with a bit of red, so it flatters nearly every complexion. I like the slim-line compact that makes application a one-swipe operation. It's a great way to wear the "citrus" trend without looking garish. Even if you've been a bit risk averse, try it and you'll see a chic, new you!
