When applying your makeup,always start with a clean face.
- Cleanser: Use a good quality, gentle cleanser. Wash and rinse thoroughly.
- Toner: A toner is needed because cleaning your face (even with a cleanser) will strip your face of the natural PH balance. Using a toner restores the PH to normal.
- Serum: Apply the serum to your face to help delay and diminish signs of aging (wrinkles).
- Eye Cream: Dab the eye cream around your eyes using your ring finger. For maximum effect, your eye cream should be applied to the top of your cheekbones up to your eyebrows. 4
- Day Cream: You should always use a day cream that has SPF. Apply your day cream all over your face and neck Before bed you will do the same routine but instead of using day cream, you will use night cream.
- Let your face dry before beginning your makeup application.
- Primer: Whey you apply a primer to your face before beginning to add the makeup, you are giving your skin surface a smooth surface to work with which allows the makeup to go on smoothly. ( our primer is one of my Favorite products you have to try it to believe it )
- Concealer: Dot concealer with your ring finger or a brush on the dark and problem areas of your face. This usually includes under the eye, along the nose, and on the chin. Always blend the concealer by patting it on, never rub. There are three color choices for the concealer and you will want to match it to your skin color: light, medium, and dark.
- Foundation is the next step: There are various types of foundation to choose from. When using a dry foundation, you will use a foundation brush. Using only a little bit of foundation on the brush, you will apply it in a circular motion all over your face including your jaw line. When using a tinted moisturizer, it is best to spread it all over your face including your jawline.Some people prefer to apply their foundation or moisturizer only to the problem areas however this can be a little trickier when trying to get a smooth look. Either way, make sure to smooth and blend the foundation or moisturizer so that you don’t end up with the “caked on look”. You should only need a very think layer to achieve the look.
- Blush: Using an appropriate brush for blush, apply just a little to the apple of your cheeks. You don’t want to overdo it. There are many shades of blush to choose from. It is a matter of choice which one(s) you will use but generally, you’ll want to stick to as close to your natural skin color as possible. - .Bronzer: Many people love a bronzer. Use this when you want to have the appearance of sun-kissed skin.
- Highlighter: Use a little bit of highlighter to brighten up specific areas of your face. A highlighter will give you a little more contour to those areas of your face.
- Eyeliner: At this point, you can start on your eyes. For a classic look, apply a thin line of eyeliner to your top eyelid just above your eyelashes. You could also choose to draw a think line just below your lower lashes smudging the line slightly. You have the choice of using a pencil eyeliner or a liquid eyeliner. Our liquid eyeliner comes in two color choice – black and brown. The pencil eyeliners come in various shades: charcoal, ebony, cocoa, olive, toffee and plum.
- Eyeshadow: There are many ways that you can apply your eyeshadow depending on the effect that you want to achieve. For a basic look, you will want to apply a light color eyeshadow first. Next you will apply a darker color along the crease of your eyelid. Be sure to blend the two colors well for a smooth application. Your choice of shades of eyeshadow can be endless. Use the eyeshadow colors by themselves, or blend them to create new shades and new effects for your eyes. Our eyeshadow comes in twenty different colors.
- Mascara: Mascara is applied from the roots of your lashes to the ends using a smooth motion. You can apply as many layers as necessary to achieve the look you want.
- Eyebrows: If you like the look of perfectly contoured eyebrows, you can use an eyebrow pencil to draw the perfect eyebrows to compliment the shape of your face.
- Lipstick, Lip Gloss and Lip Liner: Lips can be done with or without a lip liner. If you use a lip liner, you will apply this first. Then you will apply your lipstick within those lines. The addition of lip gloss is optional depending on whether you like a matte or glossy look to your lips. Some women choose only to use a lip gloss.
