Sea salt bath

Bathing in the sea is one of the most beneficial as we all know from happy sea side holidays.  There are plenty of expensive salt lotions and potions around that claim to have the same effect and undoubtedly some do the job.  However sea salt can be bought for just a couple of pounds and if you put four very large serving spoons of sea salt in a warm- hot bath and soak for at least ten minutes you can achieve the same results,  when you get out of the bath pat your skin dry and finish with a natural non perfumed moisturiser ...perfect.

For even better results try getting Dead Sea salt again this is relatively cheap and easily available.
Dead Sea Salt is higher and richer in minerals than ordinary salt which can benefit people with problem skin. It is famous for its healing and therapeutic qualities and it is often recommended for dry and sensitive skin, and psoriasis. If you can't get to the Dead Sea yourself, then take the easier approach and add some to your bath - bring the spa to your own home.
Recommended use in the bath: 500g per bath and soak for as long as you like.
Dead Sea minerals include the following:
  • Magnesium Chloride - 31-35%
  • Potassium Chloride - 24-28%
  • Sodium Chloride - 3.8-8.0&
  • Calcium Chloride - 0.1-0.5%
  • Bromide - 0.3-0.6%
  • Sulphates - 0.05-0.2%
  • Insolubles - 0.05-0.3%

  • If you want a cheap and effective body scrub add a teaspoon of massage or baby oil to two table spoons of dead or other sea salt and mix then use immediately the results are amazing
