Spreading the word these products work

How Much is Your Health Worth?

It just amazes me how many people don’t think about their health – for now or for their future.

We try to educate people know about the good and the bad of products they use, the food they eat, and how to improve their lifestyle and health — Their Future!

We do this because we care. We do this because we want to help. We do this because we have learned through a lot of research and education how poorly we (as a people) are being advised what is best for us. Most of the products that we are bombarded with through ads and commercials are NOT good for us. Plain and simple – most of it is a lie or we are not told that it is harmful for us to use or to consume.

Let’s take a look at skincare. The majority of skincare products on the market today contain mineral oil. Mineral oil is used as an ingredient in making most skincare products because it is really inexpensive for the manufacturer to buy yet it does nothing for you and your skin. In fact, it is very harmful to you. Mineral oil is used as a filler for skincare AND it is a leading cause of cancer. It does not absorb into your skin. Yes, it feels soft but it is not softening your skin – what you feel is the layer of oil that is sitting on the top of your skin, blocking all the good nutrition from absorbing into your skin. In fact, it is is actually drying out your skin and killing it slowly.

I had a conversation with a lady who has extremely dry, painful, cracked heels. I told her that I used to have the same thing but that I had fixed that problem. I gave her some of the same products that I used and explained to her how to use them. I spoke to her again a few days ago and found out that although her heels are getting better, they are not improving the way they should. We discussed what she is doing and she told me that she is using the Sea Salt Scrub that I recommended, but not the foot cream. Instead she chose to continue using a her old stand-by which contains a lot of mineral oil. She claimed that her feet are still dry. I tried to explain to her that it is her old stand-by that is preventing her heels from healing but she insists that it is not. Despite everything that I explained to her about mineral oil, she refuses to believe. Her heels will improve as long as she continues to use the Sea Salt Scrub, but they will not completely heal as long as she insists on using the mineral oil based product. Until she is ready to believe, she will continue to suffer with unhealthy skin. We have chosen our health. We have made changes to what we put on our skin and have chosen to be selective about what is absorbed into our body. There are enough challenges in life, there is no need to take risks when there is no need to. What we find hard to understand is when you explain to people that there is no need to risk your health,  Why take the chance when you don’t have to? Why not take your health AND your future into your own hands? It just amazes us how many people continue to use unhealthy products even after they have been told the truth. Educated and given a better way.

DO YOU SUFFER FROM DRY CRACKED HEELS

  1.  You are not alone. Many women have this same issue. Most people who have this problem have tried many different ways to try to get rid of this unsightly, painful problem. Yet, there is a sure-fire way to fix this problem and it is really easy.

  2.    Soak your Feet. You can soak your feel in a bucket of water or in a shower. Either way is fine as long as your feet are wet before you start.

  3.  Exfoliate. Choose an exfoliation that contains essential oils. Make sure that it does not contain mineral oil as mineral oil does not absorb into your skin. You want the oil to absorb as that is what will help to soften your hard, cracked heels. While your heels are wet and softened, put about a 1/2 tbsp of your exfoliator into the palm of your hand. Rub it onto your heels in a circular motion, using the palm of your hand for approximately 1-2 minutes. Rinse it off and pat dry. Do not rub dry as you will remove most of the oil that from the exfoliation – you want this oil to absorb into your skin.

  4.  Foot Cream. Before bed you will want to apply some foot cream with essential oils to your heels. Either let this absorb before you go to sleep or you can wear some thin socks over the lotion and let it absorb while you sleep. Repeat this process at least every two to three days and you will have noticeable improvement within a few weeks.

  5.  If you suffer from dry, cracked heels you will need to repeat this process on a regular basis otherwise the dryness will return. I suffered with extremely dry, cracked, and sore heels for many years. I tried many over-the-counter products without any measurable difference – in fact, all I ever got was a very slight improvement for a short period of time. It was only when I started using Arbonne essential Awaken Sea Salt Scrub and FC5 Cooling Foot Cream from Arbonne that my heels started to improve. it has taken a few months of regular treatment, but my heels are 99% better than they have been in years. They are no longer cracked and sore.  My feet look and feel better than they have in years.
